The Heveningham Tour is a 50-mile drive through the beautiful Suffolk countryside for concours' owners & guests with a stop for lunch. Departing under starter's orders from outside Heveningham Hall at 11 am on Friday 21st June, this year's drive will take in Suffolk's glorious Heritage Coast before culminating in a picnic at a secret location. All entrants receive specially-commissioned plaques and decals for The Heveningham Tour. This year's route will be announced in due course.
TROPHIES
All of the trophies have been designed by renowned local artist, Laurence Edwards. One of the few sculptors to cast his own work using the ‘lost wax’ process, his sculptures express the raw liquid power of bronze and its versatility, mass and evolution. Based in Suffolk, Laurence studied bronze casting and sculpture with Sir Anthony Caro and, after winning a Henry Moore bursary, studied traditional casting techniques in India and Nepal which not only influenced his work but also gave him tools to establish his own studio.
