A family friendly environment with the Street pedestrianised from Piccadilly Circus to Oxford Circus. The usual shopping appeal of Regent Street with a great opportunity for some early Christmas shopping too! If you’re planning on attending the event as a visitor, simply join us on Regent Street between Piccadilly Circus and Oxford Circus on the first Saturday in November between 10.30am and 4pm. Check out the Event Guide beforehand to help plan your day. The Regent Street Motor Show features a range of special cars reflecting the very best of motoring history, the present day and a glimpse into the future too. We encourage all exhibitors to be as interactive as possible so that it’s not just about static vehicle displays but plenty of ways of getting up close and personal with some stunning automotive culture too! We also have entertainment from the West End Kids and there will be the chance to enjoy The Top Gear Experience in one of their simulators. There will be one hundred pre-1905 veteran cars on display in the Bonhams Veteran Car Zone ahead of these historic vehicles taking part in the world’s longest-running motoring event, the Bonhams London to Brighton Veteran Car Run supported by Hiscox, the next day. There will also be stunning classic cars, as well as modern and cars of the future on display. West End Kids will be performing and there are plenty of activities for kids to get involved in! If you’re a motoring enthusiast, there will be plenty to keep you entertained! How much does it cost? Will the shops still be open? How did the Regent Street Motor Show first come about? he Regent Street Motor Show is completely free to attend although there is a small charge for activities such as the Top Gear Simulation. Yes, absolutely! You can enjoy all that the Show has on offer while also starting on some early Christmas shopping! The event first began in 2005 when the first Veteran Car Run International Concours was staged on Regent Street featuring the top 100 Veteran Cars from around the world, the day before the start of the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run In 2010 this evolved into the Regent Street Motor Show incorporating 21st century vehicles and today it is the largest free-to-view motor show in the UK showcasing 125 years of motoring embracing everything from the earliest 19th Century veterans to the 21st Century cars of the future.

EXTRA INFO
On the day of the Show, Regent Street is pedestrianised from Piccadilly Circus to Oxford Circus. Opening hours of the Regent Street Motor Show are from 10:30 until 16:00. To see our Privacy Policy please click here. The Regent Street Motor Show is organised and promoted by Goose Live Events in collaboration with the New West End Company. Talk to us about sponsorship, exhibitions and getting involved. Kids Zone The 2018 Show provided something for everyone with lots of things to see and do throughout the day from 10.30am until 4pm. Some of the highlights are listed below… Scalextric Scalextric demonstrated an impressive layout for racers of all ages to play for free. It featured aspects of their latest technology in ARC AIR, with state-of-the-art gameplay which presents drivers with the option of recreating adverse weather conditions and race incidents with the added ease of wireless controllers. The racing system was set up outside Hamleys, the world’s oldest and largest toy shop – one of the many flagship stores located on Regent Street. DeLorean For movie lovers and selfie seekers, the Kids Zone also starred a modified DeLorean ‘time machine’ straight from the Back to the Future film-set complete with gull-wing doors, flux capacitor and, who knows, perhaps even a plutonium powered engine. Top Gear Experience Visitors to the Show had the chance to do the Top Gear Experience! West End Kids West End Kids, the elite song and dance group, provided entertainment each hour from 10.30am right the way through to 3.30pm! To find out more about the West End Kids, visit their website. TrackStars TrackStars joined us on Regent Street for the 2018 Show! TrackStars provides children aged 4-10 with fun, safe karting action. Their battery powered karts are environmentally friendly and near silent in operation – so they are green in yellow karts! Kids love them as they are totally in control yet find them very easy to drive, just one pedal to press and go. Karts have a remote switch off managed by the operator – just in case of bumps – and they are contained within an inflatable track providing protection for the drivers and spectators. This activity is something your little TrackStars will remember! To find out more about TrackStars, visit their website. Greenpower Education Trust Greenpower challenges young people aged 9 – 25 to design, build, and race an electric car. Events are held around the country engaging over 10,000 students in STEM related subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths). For more information please visit their website. They brought a small aspect of their competition to the Show for all members of the public to participate in at the 2018 Show! 1930’s red fire engine A very photogenic 1930’s red fire engine and crew were also on hand to provide another perfect picture opportunity!
