Description
Be part of a Spring Bank Holiday spectacular as Mark Woodward brings the best of classic cars and Land Rovers to Ripley Castle, North Yorkshire, for a record-breaking 35th time. Maximise your Bank Holiday Monday fun with a combination of horsepower and history as this huge event packs out the deer-park with hundreds of classic stars. 700-year-old Ripley Castle, on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, has been home to the Ingilby family for 26 generations. Just 3 miles north of historic Harrogate, it’s easily accessible from the A1. The castle boasts historic armour and furnishings, extensive gardens and deer-park, plus national horticultural collections, so there’s plenty to explore for a packed family day out. Filling this magnificent space will be a huge display of classic cars, motorcycles, vans, trucks and ex-military vehicles. Private classic cars are warmly invited along. Extensive club stands will give visitors the chance to swap tips with fellow enthusiasts. Arena demonstrations and full-commentary parades include the popular Land Rover Display, whilst the large auto jumble and range of trade stands could provide that vital missing part for your own project. With the splendid castle as backdrop, show entry includes admission to the castle grounds, gardens and parkland, with castle tours also available at a small extra charge.
